Eastern Market
On weekends, we offer free pop-up art making activities at Eastern Market, Washington, D.C.’s famed outdoor food and arts market. Families can stop by our booth to create a fun craft in a short period of time.
Each week, we offer a different art making option, often inspired by the season or an approaching holiday.
Our booth provides families with a fun, colorful place where children can channel their artistic energies and engage in an enriching activity with their parents. We provide all the materials and instruction needed to create a project.

To help foster a love of art making and build a community of young artists, our booth includes a Little Free Art Store where children can share and/or take gently used art supplies.

Eastern Market is located on 7th Street SE, a few blocks east on the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.’s historic Capitol Hill neighborhood. Street parking is available, and the market is easily accessible via the Eastern Market Metro stop.
